The problem

In rural Sierra Leone, a woman in obstructed labour can be eight hours from the nearest functioning clinic. Africa carries 23% of the global disease burden and receives 1.6% of global health spending. The bottleneck is not doctors — it is buildings to put them in.

The work

PointRock designs and deploys bespoke modular health units — fixed clinics and mobile outreach trailers, built to global medical specification, shipped flat-packed, and operational within weeks. We run two parallel supply tracks: a commercial manufacturing engine via vetted Chinese exporters, and a circular-economy track that diverts retiring UK welfare-hire fleets to be refurbished and redeployed.

The structure

Each unit lives inside a three-party operating ecosystem: a corporate sponsor (full CSR metrics, naming rights, tax relief via UK charity partners), PointRock as the operator bridging manufacturing to last-mile delivery, and an in-country partner — a Ministry of Health, NGO, or faith-based network — that operates the clinic long-term.

The offer

A single named clinic, fully delivered and operational, sits between £180,000 and £320,000 depending on specification and location. Ninety days from sign-off to handover.
