A small firm
for decisions with
long shadows.
PointRock exists to help organisations make a small number of consequential decisions well — and then to help them act on those decisions in the world.
We sit between the boardroom and the field. Most of our work starts with a conversation about what an organisation is actually trying to become — and ends with something built, shipped, or signed. We are not a research firm and we are not an agency. We are a small, senior team brought in when the work is unusually complex, the stakes are unusually high, or both.
Our practices span strategy, brand, infrastructure, operations, communications, and capital. Clients engage us across one or several of these — but always under a single team that takes responsibility for the outcome.
What we
hold to.
- 01
Independent.
No house product to sell. We are paid to think clearly, not to recommend the work that suits our model.
- 02
Senior only.
The people in the room with you are the people doing the work. No pyramid. No handoff to juniors after the pitch.
- 03
Discreet by default.
Most of our engagements never appear on this site. The ones that do are published with our partners' permission.
- 04
Built to be useful.
Strategy is only as good as what gets built. We stay through delivery, not just diagnosis.
- 05
Selective.
We take on a small number of engagements each year. The decision to work with a client is mutual.
PointRock is intentionally small. The senior practitioners you meet are the people who do the work. We grow the team by engagement, not by ambition.
